When browsing my portfolio, the actors who are wearing makeup and have longer hair may appear natural, but there is actually quite a bit of behind-the-scenes work involved to achieve that look.
What looks good in everyday life does not always translate the same way on camera. Hair in particular shifts constantly, and it is not practical to step away to a mirror, make adjustments, and then return to the exact same position with everything sitting correctly.
The results you see in my portfolio depend on the help provided by a hair and makeup artist.
I realize this may seem like an extra add-on at first, but in practice it adds about an hour of studio rental and session time on my end. I mention that simply to emphasize that I still recommend it because it consistently leads to stronger results and allows me to recreate the level of polish and consistency you see throughout my portfolio.
